THE HIRE and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) has reported the theft of a Coates Hire caterpillar 312CL excavator, stolen from a site in Coffs Harbour.
According to HRIA, the Cat 312CL was stolen between 16 and 18 January 2010, from the corner of Richmond Drive and Brunswick Avenue, Coffs Harbour.
Coates Hire says registration plate of its 2004 model caterpillar excavator is 79048C, the serial number is CAB01863, and the engine number is 6LK32625. The unit is painted caterpillar yellow and emblazoned with Coates Hire stickers.
Police have been notified of the equipment theft.
